- Swings with the Wrangler Door!Review by Cracks & Racks - Brandon
I sell this rack all the time to people with Jeep Wranglers. Many people like to utilize the hitch on the Wrangler to carry their bikes, but the rack gets in the way of the door and does not allow you to open it all the way. With the 963PRO the rack and bikes swing out with the door, giving you full access to the back.
Ease of Installation Functionality Quality / Durability Overall Value
BUYING TIP: Double check your bike's frame style and make sure it will fit nicely over the rack arms. Newer bikes can have funky frames and can make loading the bikes tricky. If you have a funky frame you may want a frame adapter to make loading easier (~$29.00-$50.00).
The SpareMe is paired nicely with the Thule 9033 Tram for carrying skies in winter! Which gives you a sweet bike rack ski rack combo! This is also a great solution for the customer that does not have a roof rack for their skis.
INSTALLATION TIP: If you are using this bike rack with the 9033 Tram, you need to make sure the blue strap is installed around the back of the Jeep's wheel. Without the strap the weight of the Tram can bend the arms of the bike rack rendering it useless. (Posted on 10/27/2016)
