Measuring only 81" long, the 7179 SkyBox Pro 16s Silver is the shortest SkybBox that Yakima offers. It's still a good length for skis and snowboards but doesn't require as much roof-length meaning it fits on a larger variety of vehicles with shorter rooflines, like the Subaru Outback or Volkswagon Jetta. The new SkyBox Pro features a super-sturdy lid, a re-designed latch system, and a cargo mat and net to keep your gear stationary.
