While the MegaWarrior and the LoadwWrrior will carry bikes and skis, bike mounts have a tendency to eat up some of the usable cargo space in the basket, therefore, it's recommended to use the BOA bike mount when mounting bikes onto the basket's bars.

The downside to mounting bikes in the basket is that it uses up usable space in the basket, and makes the bike sit 6" higher which may make loading and unloading a bit more difficult. A better alternative is using a base rack system from Yakima, mounting the basket in the center of the rack, and mounting bike attachments to the bar extending outboard of the tower. This will give you more usable basket space and make loading the bikes easier

The megawarrior and loadwarrior make a great foundation rack alternative to using a base rack system on factory crossbars. In other words, you can use the baskets to gain access to a round crossbar that will accommodate bike and ski attachments.
