Fit & Installation Tips
Many of today's new mountain bikes and 29er bikes have full-suspension bike frames, making them difficult to load on standard hitch mounted bike racks without a frame adapter. The new tray-style bike racks address this by clamping down on the wheel in front of the fork. This way, the bike can't roll forward, because of the fork, and can't roll backwards, because the rear of the bike is also secured. |
