The Doubledown series of racks was redesigned in 2008, and has quickly become a shop favorite for it's new, super-easy-to-use fold down mast.  The cradle design, (consistent for all the Doubleown and Bighorn racks) has 3 points of contact on the bike that can be configured in a variety of shapes to accommodate a wide variety of bike frame geometries, without the need for an accessory bike stabilizing bar.

The Doubledown racks are a perfect choice for families with 2 different vehicles, that have different hitch sizes, because of the built-in 1 ¼" hitch adapter. Instead of buying 2 racks you can use the same rack on both vehicles.

Add the integrated Deadlock system to lock the bikes to the rack, and the rack to the hitch.
