FIT/INSTALLATION TIPS: This rack is a wonderful design and has quickly become a Cracks & Racks favorite. The new cradle design works well with nearly every possible bike frame geometry. The Trigger Finger lever makes folding and storing the bike arms a snap.

This rack will work well with most vehicles that have a 2" receiver hitch.  Keep in mind this rack and many hitch mount racks might not slide all the way into your hitch with a rear mounted spare tire.  Often times this problem can be solved though with a hitch extension.

All of the Hitch Racks have a nut inside the base of the rack that attaches them inside the hitch. Instead of a hitch pin, all of the Hitch racks use a threaded bolt to affix the rack to the hitch. This takes out any wobble in the rack when it's loaded, making your precious cargo rock solid on the back of your car, and we all know, that 4 bikes on the back of the car could be worth more than the car itself.

Be prepared with some tools for installation of this rack.  Although this rack comes with a couple of wrenches, a 3/4" socket wrench will come in handy when attaching it to the car.
