Make sure you assemble all of the clips and the pads properly, according to the directions. Doing so, will allow the rack to contour to the rounded roofline of the vehicle. Installation would be easier, especially for the rear crossbar with a 2nd person, since the clip is inserted in between the rubber molding around the quarter glass.
