Originally introduced in Europe, the Traverse is now available in the US and provides the strongest, safest and easiest installation of any tower of its kind. It's designed to work exclusively with the Traverse Fit Kits, and together, the combination is loaded with new features that take some of the guesswork out of installing a rack on a naked roof. Some vehicles have short factory roof racks on the rear portion of the car's roof. That's where using a half-pack of Traverse Feet on the front doors, coupled with a half-pack of another tower, like the 450 Crossroard in the rear, make a perfect combination for a multi-sport roof rack.

Fit & Installation Tips

Start by reading the instructions for assembling the towers. Before attaching the brackets to the tower, measure the correct distance between the towers to ensure a precise and strong fit. The difference between an amateur and a professional installation is having even bar lengths outboard of the tower.
