SR Kits are required for the Thule 440 Racks (sold separately). The SR Kits are rubber pads that match the profile of your vehicles side rails.

This is a really easy installation and a very versatile one, since you can attach the crossbars anywhere along the length of the flush-mounted siderail.  Be sure to choose the correct SR Kit to go with the rack for your vehicle.  They are mandatory!  Be sure to contact the the shop if you have any questions.
