Contoured brackets and rubber roof pads combine to clamp down in-between your doors - 1 bar in the front door, around 8 inches from the top corner of the windshield (for example) and another bar in the rear door approximately 25" - 30" from the front bar.

Utilizing the T-Slot with Thule Xadapt Kits in the AeroBlade allows you to use the entire bar length for mounting accessories, since the tower is inserted below the bar.
