Thule 400XTR Rapid Aero Foot

Designed to work with Rapid Aero aluminum load bars, these feet work with Fit Kits on vehicles that lack rain gutters or factory racks. Sedans and hatchback vehicles often lack factory side rails, raingutters or track systems to mount base rack systems. That’s where thorough research and development comes into play. Aero feet work in conjunction with specific fit kits, designed for an enormous array of vehicles, to create a very strong rack foundation.  A shop favorite for a long time. Price: $150.00 Quantity: 4 Rapid Aero feet Designed for use with Thule Fit Kits (sold separately) Works exclusively with Thule Rapid Aero Load bars (sold separately) One Key System- lockable with 4 lock cores (sold separately) Contoured brackets and rubber roof pads combine to clamp down in-between your doors– 1 bar in the front door, around 8 inches from the top corner of the windshield, and another bar in the rear door usually 30" from the front bar. FIT/INSTALLATION TIPS: The shorter, Rapid Aero loadbar allows you to use the entire bar length for mounting accessories, since the tower is inserted below the bar. Be sure to choose the recommended bar length set forth in the fit guide.  Longer bars will not fit since the channel underneath the bar will not be long enough.  If you need a longer loadbar, choose the 400xt application with rectangular steel bars.  Start by reading the instructions for assembling the towers. Before attaching the brackets to the tower, measure the correct distance between the towers to ensure a precise and strong fit. The difference between an amateur and a professional installation is having even bar lengths outboard of the tower. It’s symmetrically correct. NOT SURE WHAT YOU NEED???
