The Kuat Sherpa is the next best thing to the NV. It is super lightweight (27lbs), made of durable, rust-proof aluminum, includes a hitch lock and a cable lock, and it's super easy to install with its hand tightening cam system. Need to get into the back of your vehicle with bikes loaded? No problem, with this rack. The Sherpa tilts down, bringing the bikes out and away from the vehicle allowing the hatch or rear door to swing upwards. It will fit either 2" or 1¼" hitch receiver and will easily handle big wheels found on today's 29ers. It comes in either black chrome or white, and like all Kuat products, it comes with a lifetime warranty.
