The Kuat NV is made of heat-treated aluminum to bring you not only the best bike rack you’ve ever used, but to also make it light and manageable so you don’t have to be Arnold Schwarzenegger to install and remove it. The NV holds two bikes (60 lbs. per bike) and has a built-in repair stand for trailhead repairs and maintenance. A spring lever folds the rack in storage mode and also tilts the rack away, with bikes loaded, for rear of vehicle access. The NV also includes a hitch lock (locks rack to car) and a built in cable lock (locks bikes to rack) for supreme security. The bikes are secured into the rack with a hook that goes around the front tire and easily accomodates 20" - 29" wheels.
