If you're driving a vehicle that has a spare tire on the back or your hitch is mounted deep under the rear bumper, the 7" Hitch Extension is a perfect solution to allow you to carry a bicycle rack, or other towing product on your vehicle. Constructed of solid steel, the hitch extension is designed to work inside of a 2" receiver hitch only.

When using this hitch extension for a bike rack, it is IMPERATIVE that you install anti-sway bolts and nuts to prevent wobble in the extension. Failure to do so may result in metal fatigue and catastrophic failure.
